Q: What is the best shaver for me?
A: Glad you asked. Although you must understand that each persons face
is different, (growth, sensitivity, contours, etc) it is
hard to say that one shaving system is better than another. In other words...it's hard to say.
Most all electric shavers available today are backed by a 30 day unconditional money back guarantee offered by the manufacturer (details enclosed with the shaver).
Q: What are the top selling shavers?
A: The top selling shavers today are the Braun 360 System of shavers (any of the 8000-series), and the Norelco Speed-XL and SmartTouch shavers. Panasonic and Remington remain close followers.
Q: Why does the screen (foil) on my shaver wear out so fast?
A: There are many factors which contribute to shaver screen wear below are some of the most common.
- A heavy beard will wear out a screen much fast than a soft beard.
- Damaging the screen by not covering the screen with the protective cap when not in use.
- Pressing to hard while shaving, causing the cutter block to press unnecessarily against the screen.
- Taking an excessively long time to shave, over five minutes is too long.
- Not cleaning the unit regularly.
- Not replacing the cutters at least once a year.
Q: How often do I need to change the foil and cutter (heads) on my shaver.
| Norelco |
Head and cutter sets every 12-18 months |
| Braun |
Screen and cutter every 12 months |
| Eltron |
Screen and cutter every 12 months |
| Panasonic |

| Remington |

Q: Can I buy and install batteries myself?
A: Batteries in many shavers on the market today are soldered onto the circuit board, therefore installation should be completed by qualified technicians only. Besides the warranty being voided if not done by trained technician, there is a fire risk if the batteries are not installed properly as well as damage to the circuit board of the unit.
Q: How/Where do I find the model number of my electric shaver?
